My hubby saw this product display carousel about to be thrown away at work, thought of me, and rescued it.
He knows me well enough to recognize I would see beyond its original purpose and be able to transform it into something functional for my scrapbooking supplies. I love that.
The next day while pulling off the stickers, I discovered it does this. Double
bonus!
Here are some views of the finished product.
For storage, I used only items I had on hand, which included several forms of plastic packaging and two flavored instant coffee tins that I covered with paper. I punched holes in everything (yes, even the tins) with my Crop-A-Dile. Love that thing!
I may end up doing something to cover the slots that are still showing on the bottom of two sides. But for now, I’m loving my new, free, cute storage carousel that keeps all my favorites together and in sight.
Thanks, Honey! :)
THAT is totally better than I imagined!!!!!!! So cute and functional!
Great save Dave!
Score! What a thoughtful & observant husband you have there. ;)
You never cease to amaze me! You are so creative! Dave’s always been a man with a vision. =)
