Well, I did it: my first ever video tutorial! The sound quality is not the greatest, so since I want to keep doing these, I will probably invest in a USB headset/microphone. So thank you for graciously overlooking the weird feedback from the built-in one on my laptop.
Sometimes I convince myself that I shouldn’t share something because surely everyone already knows how to do it, but then I’m reminded that’s not true at all. We’re each at a different level of technological experience, and I always want to remember that things that are obvious to me are only obvious to me! I love explaining things and helping people, so this addition of video tutorials is going to be really fun for me.
One thing I forgot to mention in the video is that when you create a new Pinterest board, all of the people who have chosen to follow ALL of your boards will automatically become followers of that new board. You may have a few who were following that original big Pinterest board and not every other one and so they won’t be following the newly-created ones as a result, but it shouldn’t be significant. And I’m betting you will find it more than worth the improved organization and saved time in locating your pins.
If you end up going through the steps outlined in the video tutorial to break a large Pinterest board into smaller ones, I would love to hear about it in the comments!
